We travel a lot as a family. The taxi driver didn't know the differences between the hotels (aston) and got lost, - not a terrific start. While reception and the people / staff were welcoming and the view was great - the buildings are tired, dated, poorly decorated, single glazed, had curtains that didn't work (and had mould on the back) and overall the rooms lacked a modern feel. It was our third hotel in Hawaii - the other 2 were significantly better value. Overpriced in our opinion and very average ... but a great view

Overall, the stay was positive and we enjoyed our time there. The space is small but very comfortable, and the kitchen and bathroom are adequate for what we needed.
