Great place to stay

Our daughter lives in Kansas City. Whenever we visit we stay at Lotus. It is always clean, quiet, comfortable and has a great breakfast. I feel the price is reasonable too.

It was very good and very close to the hospital as I had to have surgery the following day so we traveled there so we would be closer. We also appreciate the hot tub being open a little bit later for some relaxation.

Really like staying at the Hotel Lotus!

Have stayed here a number of times- this time was greeted and upgraded to a very nice room. Employee noted that w had been there before- good breakfast and everything was very clean. Pool area was clean, also- plenty of towels.

The BEST experience!!!

Our stay started out great. In the morning, we discovered the heat and hot water were out. The manager apologized and said someone was coming to fix the issue. It was a whole building problem. We ended up getting our room for one more night at a discount. After finding out we were gonna be in the area for another week (hospital stay) we ended up going back to the hotel and getting a room for the whole week! The desk clerks were amazing! Breakfast was AMAZING every morning!! The pool and hot tub was excellent. We will be making more trips to the area for doctor visits and we definitely will be staying here!!! Thank you so much for a great place to stay!!

We stayed in room 227. Avoid this room at all costs. Below are room was very loud radios and voices of people. We could hear them at all hours of the night. We found out that are room was above some radio control room which is why we would constantly hear these voices and radio sounds. We complained to the front desk, because it was indeed annoying, and couldn't switch rooms. The fan in the bathroom didn't work and the wall unit thermostat wouldn't go above 69 degrees. Overall the breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly. It was just a huge inconvenience to be in a room with constant noise coming in and out of our room. The spa was out favorite place , the pool was a little dirty. The gym was small but fun, although one of the walking machines in the facility was broken.

No Hot Water and Broken Thermostat

The room was clean. The challenge was that the thermostat did not work correctly and would run continuously (I woke up and it was 85 degrees). And no hot water the second morning. The breakfast buffet was good.

The bed was comfortable. The shower was nice but the knob you pull to start the shower was janky and fell off leaving water squirting all over the bathroom. The door to the bathroom was too big for the frame making a vey loud noise when trying to close it. The breakfast person was crabby. When I asked about gluten free options at breakfast she just said “no” and made no eye contact.

I stayed here 6 days with my two elementary age kids. Hotel is very clean other than the hottub was dirty and gross. My biggest issue was the 1st night I checked in only my room did not have hot water. When I asked the front desk she said it was because it was cold outside but the guy across the hall said he had steaming hot water. So I switched rooms and problem solved.Then morning 5 and 6 I woke up both times and had no hot water before going to work for the day. Hotel staff offered only a $35 discount. The breakfast here is pretty mediocre. But the hotel in general is quiet and feels safe. The thermostat in the room I set to 74 and it never got over 71. I do like this hotel for the price but not having hot water is very inconvenient. Housekeeping staff does an exceptional job!
