Immaculate beach house in desirable Green Harbor, directly on Duxbury Beach (biggest and best beach on the South Shore). So close to the ocean, you'll think you're on a boat! Fall asleep to the surf. Wake up to sunrise over the ocean. Enjoy morning coffee on the deck, then take a long walk on the beach. Enjoy sunset in the nicely landscaped back yard. Full house with all amenities, large oceanfront deck and sandy terrrace. Your private retreat, near Boston and Cape Cod, but away from it all...

Upstairs: Three bedrooms with direct ocean views. Luxurious master suite with queen bed, private bath (dual sinks, antique claw-foot tub, two-headed shower) and walk-in master closet. Second bedroom with queen bed, third bedroom with two twin beds. Second and third bedrooms share a full bath with views onto the back yard garden and the marshes beyond.

Downstairs: Spacious living room with end-to-end windows looking out over the ocean, cozy gas fireplace, comfortable couches, large screen TV with deluxe cable package, and an alcove with a rocking chair and windows onto a professionally landscaped back yard. Full kitchen with modern appliances complementing the original antique sink, plus large capacity washer and dryer. Dining room with ocean views. A den off the living room doubles as a study / office, and provides additional sleeping space with a trundle bed (which opens into two twin beds).

Outside: large wrap-around oceanfront deck and sandy terrace. Convenient beach access via public stairs one door down, or public boat ramp three doors down. Professionally landscaped fenced-in back yard with paved walking path, outdoor shower space, and a shed with patio furniture and beach toys.

Located in a family-friendly residential neighborhood, with year-round residents on either side.

Just a short walk from the house:
- Green Harbor Lobster pound - buy live or steamed whole lobsters, delicious lobster rolls, and fried seafood, french fries and onion rings.
- The "Genny" - an old-fashioned neighborhood general store with penny candy, ice cream treats, deli, groceries, and beer/wine/spirits.

We had a fabulous stay at this house for me and my sisters families and our mother. It was perfect with little ones too (4 under 4!)! We enjoyed the Coffee Shack just down the road and a few walks on the beach!

This is a beautiful home and my family (5 adults, 1 baby) loved staying here. It is bright, airy, tastefully decorated and was always comfortable during our stay, which had both summer and fall weather. We had relatives over and between the deck and the large living room there was plenty of room for everyone. Perhaps because it was late in the season there weren't stairs down to the beach but a neighbor let us use their stairs and street beach access was only one house away.The biggest problem we had was two houses down the beach seawall was being demolished and on all but one morning we were awakened at 6am by the sound of heavy machinery. This was a drag but when we told the owners they quickly refunded one night of our stay. Other than the construction noise we had a lovely time and would definitely stay here again- it is a special place!

Great Beach House

We had a wonderful long weekend here. The house is well-maintained and right on the beach. We were there in the off season but enjoyed the peace and the long walks along the beach and into the neighboring Duxbury area. Easy drive from Boston and close to the Plymouth historic areas. Looking forward to seeing it in-season!

JUST PERFECT!!

Though Marshfield was a home during our younger years, it's easy to be bias. However, this home is a gem. Immaculately clean and the instructions for the home were clear and easy to follow. Damian, the host, was immediately attentive to our needs and he followed up to make sure everything was satisfactory. From the time of making the reservations to leaving the home, Damian and Cathy were professional and friendly. In the home, we took advantage of the fireplace which made the house feel warm, comfy and homelike. The living room was our hang out spot during the evening. The Star Market grocery store is approximately nine minutes away and it has all the necessities including organic items that you need. We walked on the beach every day. High tide was captivating to watch when it struck the seawall. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful to walk around. Haddad's restaurant offers terrific seafood with great service. There is music on Saturday's. Boston was about a 35-minute drive and during the times we drove, the traffic was easy to navigate through. Recommend visiting Eataly. It is an Italian grocery store and restaurant with a large variety of food from Italy. Lots of cheeses and meats to choose from. We recommend enjoying a stay at this Nantucket oceanfront home.

Lovely beach house

We were looking for a comfortable beach house to gather with our 3 adult children and my mother for Thanksgiving. This lovely beach home was perfect. It was a short drive to Plymouth. The expansive view and sounds of the ocean made the house extra cozy. The kitchen was well-stocked and the owners were very communicative and responsive to our needs. Highly recommend!

Northeast Road Adventure

We are on a 25 day road adventure from Missouri. The location was incredible and the home is stunning! Easy drive to Boston to walk the Freedom Trail. We also spent a day at the Plimoth Village. Damian and Cathy were quick to respond to and questions and had some great restaurant recommendations. We would highly recommend. We didn’t want to leave!!! Views are breathtaking!!

Waterfront Green Harbor Home Delights

This is the 3rd year we’ve rented this home on the sea wall in Green Harbor. It is immaculate and well-appointed. The sound of the ocean is mesmerizing and we find ourselves more relaxed within a day of arriving. The major attractions there for us are experiencing the weather, good or bad, both are enjoyable, and having everything we need to cook meals and invite family for an afternoon of hanging on the back deck on the weekend. It’s a nice quiet neighborhood and we appreciate and respect that. We sleep well at Green Harbor and find ourselves greatly revived and energized by the salt spray by the time we head home. We hope to go back next year, and highly recommend this location. Be assured: the owners are truly responsive if any questions arise before or during your stay.

Awesome cottage on the sea wall.

We loved this place! Right on the sea wall. It was awesome just hanging out on the deck. Very short walk to a beautiful sandy, uncrowded beach. (The beach goes away at high tide, which is typical for the south shore in MA.) The house is bright, well decorated/updated, and is very roomy. In a nice quiet upscale neighborhood.

Family Holiday

We spent the week of Thanksgiving and the house had all of the amenities a family of 4 required. Centrally located for trips to Cape Cod, Plymouth and Boston. A wonderful beach to walk on each day and quiet neighborhood. We hope to return again!

Wonderful House and Location

We just came home from 10 days of relaxing, watching the surf, listening to the waves crashing right below the deck, and seeing a great variety of fishing and pleasure boats going out from and in to Green Harbor. We were very pleased to find the kitchen so well equipped. The detailed notes provided by the owners answered every question we might have had during our stay. If we ever decide to vacation in the area again, we hope this house will be available.

Fantastic stay in a Nantucket style oceanfront house!

Damian and Cathy are excellent hosts. They provided clear communication, quick problem solving and were so pleasant to work with. The house is wonderful! Spacious and right on the beach… fun for grandkids, their parents and grandparents! The house is very clean and stocked with everything you need. The community is awesome, too! Excellent place for a beach front relaxing trip!

The house was better than the pictures. 5 of us stayed comfortably with room to spare. The host were very easy and helpful. They answered all our questions quickly and were very attentive. The host were off site. You get the whole house. Everything you need is there. They have decent cooking supply, washer and dryer work great. Location is great, you can hear the waves and watch the sunrise from the upstairs bedrooms. Spacious parking, we only had 2 cars but could have fit more. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation home, this place will not disappoint.

34 Bay Ave great spot!

We’ve spent some time each summer at nearby Humarock beach for years, and have opinions about beach cottages as a result of that experience. 34 Bay Ave, Marshfield is by far the most comfortable home we’ve visited, or stayed in, in the area. Gracious and helpful (offsite) hosts, plenty of space to relax and to work. We greatly enjoyed this wonderful space. Everything you need is there. The beach was less swimmable at that location due to tides, abundant seaweed, and sea wall, but only if that matters to you. It didn’t hinder our wonderfully refreshing time in this well-kept and lovely seaside home. Thank you!

AMAZING

We had a wonderful time in this Marshfield beach home. It is right on the water and has so many great views from the home. There is plenty of outdoor seating on the large oceanside deck which is a great place to watch the sunrise with morning coffee and sunset with the nightcap of your choice. The home was very clean and had everything you could possibly need. The owners made communication and check-in a breeze. We would definitely rent the home again. We had an amazing time at the home and in the area.

A delightful stay in Green Harbor

This property is exactly what my family and I were looking for in a beach vacation rental - easy access to the beach, A/C, sufficient parking spots, and plenty of indoor space. The waterfront view was beautiful, and falling asleep/waking up to the sound of the waves felt very relaxing. With other beach properties I've felt very cramped, but that was not the case here. This is a great location on a notoriously fun beach. You get A LOT in return for your vacation dollar here.
