The hotel is in a convenient location and the front desk employee was very friendly. The room itself was a disappointment. There was a strong smell of mold which they are undoubtedly aware of because they tried to mask it with some kind of product. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was fine but the mold smell was overwhelming. We opened our window - because the AC was just recirculating the musty air - which helped because it was cool and dry weather. We didn’t complain because we were just there for a night but we couldn’t have done another night. Also, a room called “Island View” at the very least implies you will see water. But this room faced other similar rooms and ran alongside a concrete commercial building.

Nice place

Love this sweet place. We used the complimentary kayaks and were able to see Manatees in the wild, lizards and a pelican too. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was a bit small.

This is an older property but it is well maintained and very clean. The front desk, housekeeping, & maintenance people are all very helpful and very courteous. We had a problem with the A/C unit and the manager stepped in and had it replaced in a couple of days. They really care about their guest comfort. My only complain would be we were located on the highway side and there is traffic 24/7 down the highway, so a little noisy.

I had an awesome stay at coconut cay! I thought it would be a little dated but I was happily surprised with an updated room including a king bed and large shower. I loved staying here.. the back had seating under string lights, chairs by the dock and tables. It was such a lovely surprise. The place offers paddle boards, bikes and a dock with no charge. I’ll be back!

My rating is based upon not using any of the facility. it was a stay for a day or two during a relocation. Front desk was helpful when i had an issue with the TV, always going t streaming and no local TV, or the coffee machine not working. beware, the office deas not open until 7AM, so early riser, you are on your own

The only reason i give this hotel 2 stars is because the front desk lady was a real charm, that's is, the hotel is old , the rooms are outdated, the air conditioning was super loud, the sheets were stained, i mean, $300 for 1 night stay in a non popular part of town, i was expecting way more
