This was a perfect and unique experience for our family. We loved riding bikes to Sunset Beach and kayaking in the mornings. The aqua lodge was such a cool way to stay in the Keys! Our kids absolutely loved it! The property was so clean and peaceful. We would recommend to anyone and would stay again!

We enjoyed our stay! Cabins was clean and as represented. Staff was polite and helpful, although a little hard to understand at times. Used the laundry facilities and those worked fine as well. We enjoyed playing pickleball and the pool amenities. Overall a great place and reasonable value compared to other places!!

Our room was not clean on arrival after the office had closed for the day. The on call maintenance person got on it right away and we had our cabin in about an hour. Had we arrived late at night, this could have presented a problem. Overall the stay was great but there needs to be a process in place to make sure all cabins are ready before the office closes for the day.

Expedia had our rental as a "deluxe Bungalow" which we thought was one of the nice cabins. when we checked in we were assigned a houseboat. The nice lady said that Expedia called a houseboat a deluxe bungalow and the "aqua lodge" was all that was available. She showed it to us, and it was very nice. It was smaller than the cabin but had separate sleeping quarters which we needed. This is a nice property, clean and well maintained. The staff is exceptional. We will definitely return, on boat or on land.
