The place is ok considering the rate you are paying for. My biggest issue is the noise on the corridor.and the banging of the doors, all these can be heared even if I turned the TV on. I ended up not having enough sleep.

Warning to fellow travelers: Avoid Expedia & HOPP Inn Manila I was booked into the wrong HOPP Inn location in Manila via Expedia — meant to stay at Makati with my group, but ended up booked at Ermita due to confusing listings. Tried to cancel via the Expedia app (which failed multiple times), and after 45 mins of back-and-forth with hotel staff and slow online support, I was told to pay again directly and get a refund later. I did exactly that. But once home, Expedia denied the refund, claiming HOPP Inn Makati said, I was a “no-show” — despite chat logs and hotel staff confirming the switch. Both Expedia and HOPP Inn have failed to honor the agreement made at the time. It’s not about the money — it’s about principle. I was misled, inconvenienced, and ultimately ignored. I won’t be using Expedia or staying at HOPP Inn again, and I hope this post helps others avoid the same dishonest treatment. #Expedia #HOPPInn #TravelWarning #CustomerServiceFail #TravelTips

The Hop Inn is my go-to when flying in or out of Manila. It has everything I require for an overnight stay (good bed, good pressure on the shower, clean) and is in a location that has a lot of various options on foot or by short distance taxi/trike.

Enjoyable stay as always. Staff was very nice. Clean rooms. Just hoping that they would put proper exhaust system in their toilets. Not sure if this goes true for all of their rooms but our room had no visible or audible exhaust fan but had a small window that opened to outside.

A very well-kept property with a friendly staff. Hop Inn hotels are always budget friendly, and this one came with an ocean view. The immediate neighborhood doesn’t have a lot to offer, but it’s a short drive to many entertainment and tourist venues.
