Fairmont is a lovely hotel,staff and personnel are friendly,personable and knowledgeable. Close to restaurants and shopping centers. We stayed for 3 nights on our first week left for the islands and came back to stay for another 3 nights ,my only complaint and concern is - we were in 631 the 625 consecutively , When you come out of the elevator on the 6th floor the intense musty / moldy odor hits you . Smells sour and tried to cover it up with some fragrance that makes the whole place smell bad . The second time we came back ,our room 625 is also musty /moldy smell . Pls .fix the issue . Thank you .

Checkin was initially slow as there were only two staff and queue was getting longer until addl staff came in and got called to check in desk with JC Cuevas and he was very pleasant, accommodating and helpful, quickly checked and had the room ready right away; he even assisted me to the lift

Truly amazing experience. The staff, especially Alex at the front desk, went over and nice to smite we were happy. I traveled with my son and we were able to have rooms right next to each other. Every detail was perfect. When we needed to hire car service, we had the option of using one provided by the hotel with a choice of cars and professional, respectful and knowledgeable chauffeurs. The hotel and everything associated with it was extremely clean and comfortable. You are treated like royalty, I usually stay in five-star hotels and this is the second time I have chosen to stay at the Fairmont Makati this year. I am already planning my next stay.

Great check in process. All staff are kind, nice, willing to help anytime (they expect a tip or course, which all guest should do), the service and hospitality is just top notch overall. Hotel still got the luxurious feel but definitely had seen its better days. Need some updating in rooms and common areas. Carpeting is nearing its lifetime end as well. Pool is nice but small and cold. Great underground access to Landmark which is connected either to Greenbelt on left or Glorietta on right. So if shopping and dining is part of your itinerary, this hotel can be a good option.
