The hotel inside is clean and spacious but the entrance is a little inconspicuous. The lift was not very inviting and the stairs up to the hotel were very worn and dark

Great location right off plaza del sol. The bathroom of our room was a little weird with the shower between the door and toilet/ sink and the elevator a little funky, but the location and price more than made up for it as a place to launch out and explore Madrid from.

Amazing hotel close to the best parts of Madrid. Everything is within walking distance - shops, restaurants, cab, and metro. Unit was also very nice and modernized. Management was also super nice. Definitely recommend this place.

The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, but the only problem that we encountered was the elevator was out of oder for all three days. Taking luggage up four floors it’s not fun. Otherwise, the hotel is in a very good location.

We arrived by train and then took the metro to Sol Station. The metro stop is very close to the hotel. However when we got there, we discovered a very tiny elevator that wasn't working. We contacted someone via WhatsApp and she stated tgat the elevator gets stuck on the 5th floor very frequently. So my poor boyfriend had to haul himself up 5 flights of stairs to close the elevator door so it would come down for us. It was almost 100° and we were exhausted from our travels. So this wasn't the best welcome. Once the elevator came down only 1 person was allowed in. So my boyfriend had to walk back up to the 3rd floor. Once on the 3rd floor, we were able to use the code to get into our room. That was quick and easy. The room looked as described and pictured. The floors were dirty though...so the room hadn't been thoroughly cleaned. But the AC worked very well and the shower was nice. One other thing to mention is that there was no blanket. The first night we slept with just a sheet. In the morning I asked about a blanket and they said it was stired under the bed. So that was a little odd. Overall, the staff was friendly and the hotel was very centrally located...just be prepared to walk up and down a lot of stairs if you stay here.

Location location location!!! So close to metro and plaza central! Big plus! The tiny window patio was fun to look out over the plaza. Fun pics! Negatively- late night events and outdoor music events made for noisy outside and hard to sleep some nights. My kids did not like that we had to go through their bedroom to get to the bathroom when they wanted to sleep and we got up first, but we dealt with it. Elevator was crazy slow! Only used it to bring luggage up to fourth floor and down. Otherwise we always used the stairs.
