It is also easy to get to the airport by metro, provided your flight is not too early in the morning. The apartment is well-laid out and fairly quiet considering how busy the area is. Tons of amenities such as parks and shopping within 5-10 minutes walk, restaurants and bars just steps outside of the front door. Check in was quick and easy. Perfect location for our Madrid adventure! With Plaza de España a few steps away, the playground was our kids favorite place! A short walk to the Royal Palace, Madrid Cathedral, shopping and many other sites. There’s also the free bus 001? on Gran Via to take you to the Museo del Prado and other sites.
