A disaster from start to finish. DO NOT STAY HERE!
First, I had to pay them through a weird system and not through VRBO. It didn’t work and their payment system didn’t work. It look a few days for them to figure it out. This was annoying. I should have just walked away at this point.
Cockroaches the size of mice were in the place. We found 2 and had to kill them.
Check in process and how to get in was ridiculous. We finally just got keys. If you don’t have data you won’t be able to get in, and they don’t tell you that. Even when we got data the process of getting to keyboard, then entering code, then going to your email and swiping (which worked only 10% of the time) … ridiculous.
There was not enough toilet paper, soap etc. So we had to buy our own. The mattresses need replacing. The walls are so thin we hear everyone beside us especially in the mail room and living room.
We could hear something in the walls at night. Mice?
The electrical kept shorting out repeatedly. Even when just making coffee. We didn’t know what to do so had to eat out and all they said was sorry.
We called the Charming office with little help. When we said we wanted to speak to the owner we were told we can’t because he only speaks English. So all we can do is write our review here.
Last, it’s a fire trap. You are floors up, no elevator, down a corridor with turns …. If there was a fire or other emergency, you can’t get out because bedrooms kitchen bathroom etc have no windows. And the window that is there has bars on it!
