We had so many issues with our room, although the staff did upgrade us to an accessible room, there were constant issues with surprise charges and room credit we did not ask for. Did not compare with other hotels we have stayed at by Marriott. Quite disappointing.

Not a family friendly hotel- traveled with my teen son- we booked a king room because that’s all that was available which was fine, but the room was so incredibly small and awkward- when you come out if the shower right into the room, there is a mirror in front of you, so even the small amount of privacy you could maybe have, if the other person was on the bed is taken away because they can see your reflection in the mirror. The toilet area is so small you can’t really even change clothes in there either. So we spent the weekend figuring out how to navigate showers when the other person could be out of the room. Not ideal. The room itself was clean and well located across from the convention center.

Rooms are very small. It’s very claustrophobic. No windows open to get a little fresh air. And there is no closet to store your things. So with the room being very small already I felt like my things were just everywhere. If your staying there more then 1 night I wouldn’t recommend it.

Marriott nailed the “Boutique Hotel” experience with Moxy. Perfect location for someone looking to stay in the downtown area. AC is next door with a full restaurant. Cozy small king rooms but the corner views are unbeatable. Deanna at the front desk made check in really warm and welcoming. Definitely would book again!

We stayed with our kiddos to attend the Laker game in LA as it’s walkable to crypto. Rates seemed fair & hotel appeared to have a modern & cool vibe but still good for anyone to reside in. We got our room & had to walk sideways to get past the beds. Very dusty, no privacy- everyone can hear what you’re doing in the room whether it’s showering or on the toilet. The water wouldn’t stay one temperature or the other, so showering was terrible. The sink/vanity is in the main part of the room. We went straight to the pool as that’s a biggie with kids. We were told, as we arrived in the pool, we had 15 mins till close. 10 mins later they told us no more time. They close it to serve as drinking/dancing for adults in the later evening. We had to check out the next morning, even though we planned to stay through the whole long weekend. Good to walk to crypto as it’s right across the street. Won’t stay again unless there’s a better room available & only with my husband. One bonus was a couple arcade games in the lobby, the kids loved them. Oh! And no coffee makers or fridges in the room, you have to go to the lobby. The coffee went empty about every 5 mins then they shut it down completely at 9am. Woof!
