Above expectations for the price. Shuttle to/from the airport was excellent. Rooms were huge with full kitchen. Large bathrooms. Seems to have been recently remodeled. A bit of a strange smell, perhaps from new carpet? AC took 1/2 hour to kick in and also seemed to turn off at night as I believe its motion sensor controlled. So if you don’t move in bed I think it shuts off. Restaurant was very expensive but there is a Coffee Bean inside as well as a good deli across the parking lot and a subway one door down. Overall highly recommended.

We arrived late at night and check in was ridiculous. We stood at reception for over 30 mins. One staff member was busy flirting with a young girl he was checking in. Another went to take luggage to storage and never came back. There was a line up of people waiting to check in. I called down to ask about the restaurant and the person answering the phone said ‘uh, I’ll transfer you over’ sounding irritated. This is the first bad review I have written. But for the money we paid, we felt check in alone should have been prompt. Saving grace, the gentleman who did the shuttle pick up was lovely.

Nice service by the Asian woman working at the restaurant and taking my order almost immediately…I prefer listening to some classical music (instead of pop music) in the background…also, when it was busy at night (with four family units in line on a Saturday evening in the summer) at the check-in counter, there was initially only one worker…the manager seemed to be standing idly (talking about waste of resources), by not doing anything to help…only later did another check-in clerk showed up.

There was no got wayer for the shower, the AC was turned to 68 but the room stayed 74 degrees, and there was a loud jack hammer sound throughout the night.

I stayed at the Hyatt House in Oakbrook and had a great experience overall. The staff was friendly, professional, and accommodating from check-in to check-out. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped—perfect for both short and extended stays. One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast. It had a nice variety of hot and cold options, and everything was fresh and well-stocked. The location is also super convenient—close to shopping, restaurants, and highways, but still quiet and peaceful. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and modern place to stay in the Oakbrook area, I definitely recommend the Hyatt House. Would absolutely return!

Good business property an easy walk from LAXit. Clean and comfortable. I did find it annoying that at the price charged, the property charged for water
