Booked it last minute and everything was as disclosed (parking fee, tight parking, neighborhood was a bit rough). The staff greeted us in an attentive and friendly manner. Rooms were spacious and clean. Location was convenient from Universal Studios. In house barber was a plus. The only thing that freaked me out was that if you don’t check in by 12midnight they will cancel your reservation. Is that a new norm?

The staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. The shower and toilet barely worked when we called to report the issue no one answered after 15 minutes. Overall it was a good stay.

I couldn't recommend this hotel enough. Location - very accessible, short walking distance to Universal Studios shuttle terminal. Room - very spacious and clean. Lobby - modern decoration, spacious and cozy. Staff - superb, very friendly and professional. Two people I want to say thank you - First the bartender (sorry I forgot the name) He made sure my cocktails taste perfect. Second, the guy at the recpetion on night duty of Dec 20. We already checked out in the morning but left luggage to be collected at night before we head to our amtrack trip. This trip got delayed for 2 hours! It was 12 midnight and we asked if we can stay while we wait for our departure time. He was the kindest, most accommodating person, he let us stay in the lobby and made sure we were comfortable. I hope somehow you read this. Thank you for your help.

Checked in to find HVAC was unplugged. The floors looked as if they had not been sweep or mopped. Called the desk. They came and looked and informed us the HVAC did not work. Thier solution was to offer a portable heater/fan. Was not offered another room and when asked was told they didn’t have any other rooms. I asked for a refund and then was offered two other room options. The first of those two rooms stunck.The second was acceptable but still would not walk barefooted on the floors. Sign on the outside of the hotel said best rates on Hotels.com. I guess there is a reason.

The pictures are very deceiving. The pool is in the parking garage corner and was in terrible shape. The room was nice and big but the bathroom was very dirty. The area is very dirty which was shocking because it is right outside of universal studios.

The room was very nice, and having 2 king beds was very nice for our family. The only issue was the bathroom had no venting and so it got very humid in the room and there was black mold in the bathroom.

Our stay was good, the location was convenient for our trip. The only issue we had was with our room keys. They wouldn’t work and when we would let the front desk know they would say they were re-programmed, but they still didn’t work so we were continually going back and forth. Other than that, they do have a barbershop there which was a plus for anyone in need of the service.

The staff is wonderful. The room was big and comfort, we did have a problem with AC unit but they was quick help us out. Universal Studios a short walk. Thank you front desk member for helping out and making awesome memories. Looking forward to staying here more in future trip.

The pool is non existent. It was the reason we went... my 10 year old wanted to swim for her birthday. Its not a pool... its a broken hot tub. We would like a refund for that alone, but I know we would never get that. And over $100 in fees is totally unacceptable. We will tell people to avoid this hotel at all costs.
