The room had a musky odor to it. The shower did not drain which I am sure is what caused the first problem. I asked the front desk about it and they just said they would look into it. I hate posting poor ratings, but room 402 needs some help.

The tub wouldnt work and couldnt even be used the thermostat wasnt working so it was freezing in the room my girlfriends luggage was left in the lobby nobody took it upstairs as they said they would shower head was super dirty

This was our third stay at your hotel, as we’ve always appreciated the great location, the beautiful and spacious rooms, and the friendly staff. However, this time, throughout the entire weekend, the staff was distant, unhelpful, and even unfriendly. We also had a 20% discount on food and beverages, which was not deducted from our final invoice while reading the invoice after breakfast we realized that one line was marked “gratuity,” 20% and another line below was labeled "Tip" All without being informed by the server. Is it done to confuse the guest and make him to pay 2 time the tip ? Whereas the tip is at the customer's discretion For all these reasons, we do not intend to return — there are so many great hotels in Beverly Hills.

The shower tub fills up as you take a shower, I sent a message and was told that an engineer would fixed the issued and they would text me when the engineer had completed the job. There is lousy communication here. The front desk does not answer, I tried using my cell phone and still no one answers, I am very unsatisfied.

The hotel is extremely old and is in a desperate need of a remodel. The hallway looks like a college dorm. The room itself and the bathroom look like they're from the 1960s with some midcentury modern furniture to try to make it look hip, but is really just putting lipstick on a pig. The only upsides to this hotel is its proximity to Whole Foods (just a 5 minute walk in a safe neighborhood) and it's quiet due to low occupancy (this was late October).
