Central Location, Comfortable bed!
The stay was amazing! Although I was in my own private room, I was visiting with friends and we all stayed in the same hotel. Our visit included the Santa Monica Pier/3rd street promenade, Disneyland, Rose Bowl, and Universal Studios. This location was a great center location for all the activities we did. They do charge a $30 fee/day, but that can be used towards dining. It's a use it or lose it type of fee. I used it primarily for their breakfast buffet which is $35. I would not go walking around the hotel though as there are a lot of homeless and areas that may not be as safe. The Room: I had a room with a king size bed. The bed was so comfortable. I'm a side and stomach sleeper and my back did not hurt at all. The shower had both a rain type of shower head as well as a detachable shower head. The water pressure was strong (which I like). The room negatives: The lighting is lackluster. If you need to try to put make up on, you will need to bring your own mirror and lighting as the lighting is very dim. Also, if you are going to room with friends, there is no door to the bathroom. The sink is in the open, and the shower and toilet are separate with their own doors.
