We paid extra for an upgrade which put us on the second floor - nice having an opening window and a "view" of messy property rears. Walking up the stairs at the end of a days sightseeing was a drag (not to mention baggage). The kitchen was adequate but minimal. Only place settings for two. Having soup and a desert meant washing bowls mid meal. The bathroom was tiny and narrow. Plus the shower controls did not functions properly. You could turn the water on but it was set for warm - if you attempted to attempted to make it hotter it went to scalding and stayed there - as we discovered on our first morning. The location was wonderful. Walked with our bags from St Pancras and then easy access to buses and tube stations.

This place has all that is needed for a "budget" if you want to stay in London. It is practically less than 10 mins walk from the major train stations (St. Pancras and King's Cross). It's located in a very clean and neat neighbourhood. While the room may be considered a bit on the smaller side, one has to note that this is London. The beautiful thing about this place is that you have the power of doing what you want, it's like a home away from home without the AirBnB prices. Also staff is so lovely and accommodating. If I'm ever in London on a short stay I would definitely go back here again. Absolutely nailed it!

Clean and well set up in a good location. Close to the international train terminal, the underground and buses. No cleaning done during your stay and you have to go to the office for fresh supplies, but that wasn't really an issue. Short walk to the British museum.
