If you care about the view (as we do), make sure to book a room that has a specified view rather than a few options. We stayed here before and had a river/city view and came back for that reason. Sadly, our studio kitchenette room that stated it had either a city/river view or atrium view had a view of a concrete wall and other guest's windows. We asked to be moved to a room with any kind of view and was told we could for 150 pounds extra per night when we had already paid over $300 a night for our room. It was really disappointing to have zero view and would have liked to have at least known this was an option before booking, as would have stayed elsewhere. Housekeeping was also disappointing, we had to ask for our coffee/tea and towels to be replaced each night. Sheets were not changed and counters not wiped down. It is a nice location and it's very close to many places to walk to (within a 20-30 min walk). The nearest tube is 12 min walk. Hotel itself is clean and nice. The room view is what will make us book elsewhere, as we don't care to stare at a concrete wall when on a vacation, paying a lot for a room.

I was a recent guest at Park Plaza London Riverbank for 12 nights, and most of my stay was rather pleasant. Everything was clean; staff was friendly, courteous, and always willing to assist in any way. The only downside is the drains in the bathroom sink and shower would emit had a foul smell prior to turning on the water, and the air conditioning in the room made a lot of noise. Other than that, I would stay here again (but upgrade my room).

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I ordered a late night room service meal as I got in late from the Airport. It was delicious, and well priced. My friends and I purchased the Executive Lounge Day Pass. The view was spectacular from the 12th floor, and the food was good. Again, very friendly staff up there too! Our rooms were clean and spacious. There was no microwave.

The building was clean, I love de smell but was kind of dark everywhere. Also I requested to fill up the body wash and never happened, so we showered with shampoo! Staff very friendly.

During check-in and room service, the staff were generally blunt and unfriendly. I was disappointed by their lack of customer service, which belied their professionalism. The hotel's location was convenient, with easy access to all major attractions. The breakfast and food were delicious. The hotel was clean overall, and our room was clean, quiet, and had a partial view of the Thames.

We felt comfortable with the hotel. We love the service we got from you. Everything was prefect. The bedroom was spotless. We didn't have much of the sea view. But we was happy. We will come again.

Nice hotel in a nice location, however was a little disappointed in the pushy upgrade tactics upon arrival. We arrived early, a few hours before check in. Our plan was to drop off our bags and go explore if the room was not ready. When speaking with the concierge, he said the room we picked was not ready, however a different room with a better view and balcony was. This room was an additional £150/night over our non river view room. We repeatedly asked if our original room type was available and he said it was not. We declined the upgrade and then magically our original room type was available. I expect this pushy service from a small 1 star or 2 star hotel... Not from the park plaza in London...
