Stayed in the ambassador suite Pros: clean room, good water pressure/drainage in shower, comfortable bed/got good sleep, big room, was at the end of the hallway so bedroom was quiet and I could sleep, warm cookies at check in, friendly staff, hotel front area/desk/restaurant/bar/fireplace were all very modern and clean. Bartender was very friendly his name was vain (I don't know if I'm spelling that right :) overall really modern and clean hotel. Lots to do in the area, target next store with Starbuck and gas station, both you can walk to. Cons: small bathroom and they only gave 2 bath towels (checked in as 4 people) even when they come to clean, connecting door in living room (joins to other hotel room) you could hear everything, dog friendly hotel so be prepared to smell and hear dogs, it is outdated but clean, they said Keurig in the room and there wasn't only a Cuisinart machine that doesn't take K-cups. Lastly there is only one way in and out of the hotel: 46 east. We found this inconvenient and a safety concern. You cannot exit through the road behind the hotel. No one wants to have to go to the mall (especially during the holidays) to make a U-turn. They should make another exit especially for safety reasons. Overall good stay, I included some details that I wish I had read about when I was booking.

Right from check in, we were greeted by friendly staff. Our room was clean. Housekeeping came daily and made sure beds were made, towels were replaced, and also vacuumed! I would definitely stay here again. The pool was also great to have during winter season!

The room was never cleaned. There was body hair and bodily fluids all over the bathroom. When I confronted the front desk about this, they said they would take care of it, but they never did. The room has mildew due to a serious condensation issue on the windows. Also, there is no security features for the elevator, so anyone can just enter the hotel. The worst part of our stay was that they never had fresh cookies morning, noon, or night. Unacceptable!

Very good location if with a big family and don’t mind driving or commuting into NYC! there’s nearby Path lines or buses and parking on site is free and safe. Also a target next door that’s helpful for last minute needs. Bathroom is clean and beds are comfy.
