The hotel's hot tub was not working. The main & side doors were broken. There were room furnishings that were broken upon arrival, and there were things with the previous hotel guest's information on them left in the room like a thorough cleaning had never been done. It was terrible

The front desk lady was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and quiet. It had both ac and heating. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was hot and a good selection both mornings. There is shopping and dining within walking distance. The beach is also in walking distance, but expect a steep up hill walk to get back to the hotel. Overall we had a great stay! We didn't use the pool or hot tub, but they looked in great condition. The only con we had was the bathroom fan sounded like it was a dying Trex and we cringed when ever we needed to use it.

The hot tub was an off color, it seemed like it wasn't algae, but it wasn't normal. The jets weren't working at all. The pool was a nice temperature. The water station on the first floor was absolutely disgusting and produced nasty, cloudy water. Lastly, the halls and stairwells smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke that lingered with no one around. It seemed like it permanently smelled. They really enforce their check in times, so don't even think about being early. 4 is late for check in and to be finishing rooms right before.
