Central location on the island to explore both north and south sides. Neighborhood itself doesnt have much amenities as it is industrial area and next to airport. The condo was very large and super clean. All equipment working and fully furnished. Convenient place to stay if you are out exploring the island and not looking for a resort vibe.

Not really a resort, but converted apartments.

This hotel is on the side of a mountain. It appears to be a converted apartment complex. If you need extra space, this might be the place for you. If you’re actually looking for a resort, this is not it. This hotel is built on the side of a steep hill so the roads in and out and around the complex or steep. It is actually at a port so it was fun to see the cruise ships coming in and going out. We had a cheap coffee pot and older appliances. We did not use the kitchen for cooking. The hotel does provide pots and pans and dishes so that is an option if you do wish to cook in the unit. The window AC units worked OK. Upon our arrival, the “resort” charged $73 to cover their amenities. We were only there a day and a half and did not use their amenities. Our neighbor’s balconies looked down into our so we were never comfortable being out on the balcony. It was not private. This was pretty expensive for what you get. It is not a resort.

The property is close to the airport so that was convenient for a short stay. The bed was very uncomfortable as it sags in the middle so we both kept falling into the middle.

The knock at the door

We had a disappointing experience during our stay. Within five minutes of entering the room, there was a knock at the door from the downstairs neighbor, who informed us that the floors were thin and asked us to tread lightly. I explained that we were just bringing in our suitcases and apologized, but the neighbor still insisted we remain quiet. While we are not loud people, I reminded my kids to be as quiet as possible. Despite this, the neighbor knocked again whenever we spent time in the front room, which made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Additionally, the cleanliness of the unit left much to be desired. The dishes in the cupboards were dirty, so we had to load and run the dishwasher before using them. It seemed like they had been put away without being properly cleaned. Overall, these issues detracted significantly from what we had hoped would be an enjoyable stay.

Run down and yucky

This was run down, dirty and beyond outdated. I regretted taking off my shoes after walking on the stained and worn carpet. Slept with towels instead of their blankets. Perhaps we got the worst condo but after rereading reviews guessing many are run down. Considered sleeping in the car.

We had to request a refund - still waiting to hear back on that. It’s listed as a 4 star resort, but I’ve stayed in nicer 1 star motels. The carpet and peeling walls have not been refurbished since 1984, it smelled like someone fried fish in the place that morning, everything was moldy and rusted, and it felt like staying in a jail cell. We only booked it for one night, on our way elsewhere. We contemplated sleeping in our car that night. I don’t leave negative reviews, but I had to for this $340 a night “resort”.

You get what you pay for

Room was dumpy and heavily used. Carpet was terribly stained throughout. Hair on the sheets of the master bed so my wife and daughter slept on towels. No reception after 8. Security fellow was friendly but no option to discuss 2nd floor location with 85 yr old party member. No way this is a 4-4.2 Star location. More like a 2 Star out of 5 based on cost and ability to sleep 4-6. Looks fine on the outside but kind of gross and run down on the inside. Thankfully this was a land and sleep overnight only. I wouldn’t recommend
