Overall a Good place to stay but bad access , there were an traffic accident in the road that leads to the entrance . outside the towns. Beach in front was not the best but great play ground area. breakfast food was not the best the small bar food is good

I've stayed in Hilton properties in different places. South Padre Island, Hilton Anatole Dallas, TX, and even in Hilton properties in Big Island and Oahu. That said, by far this Hilton Garden Inn Kauai Wailua Bay, HI does not represent Hilton Properties standards in my opinion. I stayed from 2 June to 10 June 2025. Dirty room - 2120. Check the HVAC return and bathroom exhoust fan - dirt is so vissible like the accumulated dirt in a ceiling fan, stains on showers and pee stains on toilets, smelly bed, sheets, and pillow cases, hair stuck on sink drain, insects crawling on the floor especially the bathroom and on top of the sink, band aid floating on the pool... and the lists goes on. And these are all on the first day we checked in. I understand it was built decades ago, however, cleanliness of room(s) should not fall below the waist side. Regardless of the year a property was built. Staffs. I've meet staffs that are so committed in their work. Like Mr. Kurt and Mrs. Sena. While the others it is just another day. In on case, I ask for pillow cases, and it felt like I was asking too much. The facial expressions and body language says it all. Event Calendar does not mirror the schedule on paper. There was supposed to be a scheduled ceremonial in the morning, but you guess it, did not happned. However, the lady that taught Lei making...she's awesome. Take it for what its worth. However, the location of the property is 5 Stars. From shoppping to dinning, and places to visit.

The staff were very rude. Multiple people in our group had wrong rooms, had to switch at some point during the trip. My husband and I got married there and the coordinator was awful. I was told we would have a day of coordinator and she had no idea what was going on or happening most of the time, tried changing the location of my wedding to an awful spot (not at all what I paid thousands of dollars for) 30 minutes prior to me walking down the isle. My guests had to basically coordinator the wedding, she was not at all there when we had a rehearsal.

This room was adequate but it did smell musty and moldy. My sinuses did best with Flonase at night before bed. The entire property has a roach infestation. Our party of nine had 4 rooms in different areas and we all had roaches. The bedspreads are super scratchy so took ours off. They ran out of towels on the weekend. There is a 25 dollar a night parking fee and the lot fills up every single night. The first night a kind staff member showed us alternative parking spaces along the perimeter. The staff were mostly nice but check in took forever and ky digital key never did work. I wasnt about to stand in that line again. The door locks were not the best. I never ate at the hotel because its so expensive and nothing looked good on the menu. Its a short drive to all kinds of delicious food. But for the price and the easy access to Lydgate Beach Park this place is totally worth it. Just be prepared! Its definitely not up to Hilton's standards.

Check in was easy. Room was simple but neat and clean. Close to the pool and beach. Staff was friendly. They offered several activities. We took ukulele lessons. The bar and grill was very good
