The hotel is an older hotel but has recently undergone a full renovation and the renovation was very well done! Rooms are great with all the amenities you need, shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, moisturizer, hair dryer, small fridge, AC, coffee, water. 2 very nice pools and a great hot tub! Very good restaurant and bar that overlooks a beautiful bay! Also had free valet parking. The staff were very warm and friendly!,

Bad parking really bad. Not enough spaces during crowded times. Nice friendly staff. Overall okay if you just need a room to sleep. Typical mix of tourists from all over the world going to Kauai. Some are more cool then other. Front desk auntie is hilarious.

Wonderful staff, newly remodeled and quite nice. Right next to Coconut Marketplace so it’s a little busy but so convenient for shopping and dining. Nice beach too.

Great stay on Kauai!

Loved this hotel, right on the beach. It was amazing to be able to wake up and walk into the ocean within 5 minutes. The attached Lava Lava Beach Club restaurant was really nice too.

This property was great! Right on the ocean. Lounge chairs available. Bikes are available. Towels are provided. Staff was nice. It had a great atmosphere. Live music. Fire pits in the evening. The parking is not great but there is complimentary valet available.

We enjoyed our two-night stay very much. The room was fresh and clean, beds were comfortable and shower was perfect. The beach front is beautiful. Parking is a bit of a challenge, very full in the evenings and parking spaces are tight. If you arrive late, after a nice dinner off property, parking will be full but I am so grateful they offer free valet to accommodate guests when the parking is full. Will definitely return!

What a gem!

Loved this hotel and our overall experience with staff and property. Upon check in, staff member Novella was very helpful. She took the time to tell us all about the hotel amenities and about the island since it was our first time visiting Kauai. Found out that we had both lived in same town in California too! She gave us our complimentary bottle of wine, which was a nice bonus for being a good hotel reward member! The hotel property was nicely manicured and loved that it was right on the beach! The pools areas and grassy areas were all kept up very well and we enjoyed the nightly live music playing at the bar while we lounged on the beach. The hotel restaurant Lava Lava was very good. We had dinner and breakfast there and both meals were very good with friendly service. Our room was very comfy and had everything we needed, and housekeeping kept it very clean and tidy each day. Location was perfect— right next to a shopping center that had everything we needed. Only issue we had was in the self parking lot cause all the spaces are extremely narrow and there is not even enough room to open car door to get out properly. Because of this, Our rental car was hit and bumper torn off on our 2nd night and no one even left a note! Needless to say, we used the valet rest of our visit so not to incur further damage! The valet is free, except for tipping. Other than that, we absolutely loved everything about this hotel!

This was our 3rd trip to this hotel and It’s getting better each time. Our room was renovated with brand new furniture, carpet blackout curtains and bathroom fittings. Staff is extremely polite, we were welcomed by Angela. Overall we loved it! Highly recommended for families with kids. Also the Coconut market is just a 2 min short walk. Very convenient.

Very nice resort, literally right on the beach. Grounds were beautiful and well kept. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Be was comfortable and room was clean and spacious. Would have liked a microwave in the room instead of in laundry facility
