They offered an upgrade for an extra $10 per night to a pool view room. This room was extremely run down, the door to the verandah didn’t close properly & it was extremely noisy during the day and night. Avoid these pool view rooms if you wish to have a quiet night.

Did not get the room we booked thru Expedia but after 1 night in the wrong rooms we got moved. Staff were very helpful. Rooms were good. Really convenient location great pools. Great egg station for breakfast

GREAT STAY

We enjoyed out 7 nights at Jayakarta. Apart from our room being a little outdated and needing a good refurb it was clean and comfortable. Serviced daily including fresh bottles of water. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The grounds a beautifully maintained and the pools were fabulous. The beach was only across the road where we found many, many beach bars, cafes and warungs.

The Jayakarta is still a good value for money hotel with plenty of amenities, great gardens, good swimming pools etc. However it is getting very old now and needs to have a serious update of the rooms and other infrastructure. Staff are helpful and friendly, but seem to have lost some of their passion for the property - maybe due to the age of it.

We liked the property but it’s just dated It was very loud during the day which is fair enough with a lot of young families there but wasn’t for us Also disappointed pool strictly closed at 6pm every night
