The property is old but well maintained with all the facilities that any traveller could want. We stayed in a bungalow which was a great choice amongst the tropical gardens. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is great. The resort is within a short walk to terrific restaurants, if you don’t want to eat at the resort. The two pools are excellent and the beach is across the road for those who want that. Overall my wife and I had a fantastic stay and would recommend it to anyone.

This hotel is excellent in most respects, staff are exceptional, cleanliness is great, a few minor problems. Most food in warming trays is cold, seems hard to get boiling water for tea. Food served poolside is usually cold. My favourite band has been limited to three or four nights.

We had such a wonderful time here. Our kids loved the buffet, honestly the best we’ve ever seen, with something for everyone. The family pool was a huge hit, and the daily water polo was a highlight they looked forward to each day. The location is perfect, just a short stroll to great Bali bargains and directly across from the beach for those magical sunset drinks. We highly recommend Legian Beach Hotel for families. Daily fish feeding and squirrel feeding. We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed here for 12 days. The first week we stayed in a deluxe garden bungalow. It was spacious, 2 rooms, large double height bar fridge so we could put water and some groceries in there, aircon was cold in both rooms , it was lovely… except The bed-it was rock hard. The 2nd week we upgraded to a deluxe pool villa, the room was tiny, the fridge was tiny so we couldn’t fit anything that we had moved over from the other fridge. We spent an extra $1200 to upgrade to a deluxe pool villa.. any upgrade should mean everything is better right? The room was smaller, we had to get a bed brought in because even though we had booked in as a family of 3 we were put into a couples room with no bed for our son. The grass around the pool was overgrown, we ended up having to ask them to mow it, there was also leftover broken glass left beside the pool, even though it was just one piece and easy enough to overlook when cleaning up, unfortunately it ended up in our sons foot. The aircon wasn’t working when we first got there, they fixed it by that afternoon though. Again the bed was rock hard.. I understand Balinese have hard beds but this was no joke when I say it was rock hard. Buffet breakfast was amazing, could not fault it at all. The place was clean, staff very friendly, the resort itself felt safe.. guards at both entries checking people and cars on entry. The cocktails and poolside snacks were delicious. Can’t comment on dinner as we ate out at different restaurant each night

Hotel is very well located and staff are very friendly. They need to sort out room allocations as we required two rooms with single beds (which we made clear in the booking) and were initially given one with a double bed. They always say that they cannot guarantee a particular room but when you have been going to the hotel since 2010 and book well in advance they should at least be able to guarantee the type of bed request, if not the specific location of the room.

I loved everything about this place. I celebrated my birthday there and We had a villa with our own private pool, an outside shower, and the photos did not disappoint! Once we stepped into the room it felt like we were the only people on the resort. My boyfriend decorated the room with a happy birthday banner and when we walked in from an excursion, the staff left a cupcake and a card for me which took it over the top. Every detail was considered and I have nothing bad to say except that when we checked out, the front desk accused us of drinking a beer and replacing it with another bottle from outside, which we absolutely did not do. They delayed our check out while we awaited clearance from their team and after nearly 10 minutes of going back and forth with them, they apologized and said that perhaps it was from the previous guests, which it was! Otherwise, location was perfectly nestled in an area with tons of shops, Restaurants, and other things to do. The cleanliness and comfort was unmatched and I am definitely recommending this resort to my friends.

We love LBH stay there often, convenient, great facilities, adult pool, pricing is reasonable for a VIP % star hotel. I did have a couple of bugbears this time. We contacted the hotel for airport transfers and they forgot to book it. Also when booking I selected an option that included breakfast and when we arrived were told it had not been included. Not sure whether this was a hotel error or an expedia error. However as a result of that we found eateries within walking distance that offered buffet breakfasts for 1/3 of the price. So really worked to our advantage to be honest. Also our bronze membership discounts had not been applied. This will not deter us from going again as every other stay has been exemplary. But I will be double checking everything and checking again to ensure no future errors
