The room they put us in originally had dirty sheets that were damp and ripped. The room also smelled weird. However, when I explained, they upgraded me to a better room. Not worth the money at all. The breakfast is nice and the grounds are pretty, but you have to pay for the most expensive room for the stay to be nice.

We had a garden bungalow, which was nice enough, but a bit worn (especially the bathroom - moldy grout & faucets that had their plating worn off).The pool was nice, but, the adult only pool wasnt what we're used to seeing when it comes to adults only (usually teens are, unfortunately for them), not considered to be adults, here they were, which as people travelling without our kids, wasnt really what we were looking for. The staff was good, and it was obvious they were in a state of consistently making effort, always lots of maintenance people about working on the grounds. The poolside food / drinks - lets just say left us wanting. The cocktails were decidedly unboozy & the food, for example the nachos, werent served with salsa, but rather marinara sauce. The beans in the description weren't the expected black beans, but rather, baked beans. Strangely enough it wasnt terrible, but, also nopt what we were expecting, at all. The area around the property, it's Kuta, so, enough said.

We have stayed at this property many times over the past 20 years, and as always, it does not disappoint. The staff are friendly and helpful, the property is well maintained, the breakfast is vast and plentiful, and the location is ideal. Looking forward to our next visit.
