Highly recommend d this hotel, the staff are very helpful and friendly and the food was fantastic. The beach and pool were excellent also. The only downside is the surrounding area as you can’t walk to any restaurants or other beaches. We rented a motorbike and which helped us explore the island easily.

the rooms were very spacious and the staff were amazing, only thing lacking was an afternoon evening atmosphere, would have been amazing to relax on in the late afternoon with some local entertainment. will definitely stay here if and when i return to Cebu and look forward to see the new Ibeza addition

As a hotelier since the day I graduated from university—and having worked with Accor for 13 years—finally getting back to stay again at one of my favourite ACCOR properties, Movenpick Mactan Cebu, was something I truly looked forward to. From the moment we arrived, everyone we met—from the security guard and bellboy to the front desk team, breakfast staff, and even the lifeguards—welcomed us with such warm, genuine smiles. This is the true spirit of Filipino hospitality: not just doing a job, but serving from the heart. And of course, their breakfast never disappoints! As a foodie, I loved the egg live station, noodle station, local dishes, and the mix of international cuisines. Always a feast! Plus, JJ absolutely loved the kids’ activities—free childcare was such a blessing while I packed! Kudos to the entire Movenpick Mactan Cebu team. You made our stay truly memorable. ❤️ Thank you to Chantel from kids activities, Michelle &Pia during our breakfast and to AJ from the concierge.

I really enjoyed my stay at Movenpick Cebu. The food was absolutely delicious at breakfast, lunch, and dinner — every meal was a highlight! The service was excellent, with staff who were always friendly and willing to help with anything you needed. A special shoutout to Lester and all the lovely staff in the restaurant — you were the best! The hotel has a beautiful beach and pool, and the pool table and ping pong table are great facilities for both young and old. It’s about a 10–15 minute walk to the Newtown shops, but taxis are very affordable if you prefer not to walk. The only downside was that our room felt a little dated, although it was still very clean. I believe some rooms have already been renovated, so I’d definitely request one of those next time. Overall, a wonderful stay — highly recommend!
