Dirty and dated. Location of the property was good and there were clean sheets. Nothing else positive to say. The condition of the room was bad, especially the bathroom. There were holes in the wall from where a towel rack used to be, a gaping hole where a vent fan should’ve been, cracked and discolored drywall above the shower that looked like it could come down any minute, no one has ever bothered to actually scrub the toilet. Not sure they have ever cleaned the carpets either. It smelled like dirty dog. I kept my shoes on. We only stayed two nights, otherwise we would’ve looked for another place. Needless to say, we will not stay again.

Pros-breakfast was ok had eggs, potatoes, sausage, waffels, toast, fruit, cereal, coffee, tea and juices Beds where comfy Pool was warm Staff was nice and friendly Had ice machine Bathroom towels where pretty big not those tiny ones most places have. Cons-need to update the bathroom. The toilet seat slips off, the shower looks dirty, the shower curtain needs to be replaced. Needs coat hangers they have all the circles for them but no hangers that go into them. Pool needs to be cleaned very cloudy probably because a bunch of people where in there clothes and not bathing suits.

The rooms had a weird smell. Like they were damp before we got in. The bathrooms had a very strong bleach smell that needed to be aired out before anyone can go in there. Only 1 room has working light fixtures. It's a good option for a budget. Everything we wanted to do was 10-30 mins away. Very centrally located. Very quiet.

It was terrible we arrived to check in waited over 20 minutes for someone to get to front desk then we got into our room which was in another building cut my finger trying to open the door as the door stick. We were in room 242 in building 1300 then the room was dated with a damaged toilet seat bath tub need repair. Water was brown from shower base board in room pealing. Hair dryer is a fire hazard as it did not blow just got hot. Stay away from this property

Disappointed but optimistic for the future

The resort itself is very nice, the pool, the lobby, the sun room were all very nice. The food at the tavern was very good, but my room felt as if it was about to be remodeled. The pictures were off the walls and on the floor in the closet, the bathroom tub had dirt and environmental issues under the seam of the tub surround and liner, the curtain rod was bent and about to fall off, paint peeling off the walls. Maybe it was just this room, and it was just an anomoly at this point in time, but the remainder of the facility was nice and the continental breakfast was very good. The area is beautiful and the grounds well manicured with a spectacular view of the rolling hills and farms. I would give the resort another try, and would hope the next room doesn't present itself like this one did for the night I stayed.

Pleasant stay for the most part.

We were swimming in pool and they came out and put shock in pool so wasn't safe to swim but allowed people in it.Needless to say we didn't go back in Affordable, comfortable, hot breakfast so stay was pleasant otherwise.

I will never stay at this motel again. It was FILTHY! There was mold on the wall beside the bathtub and the shower curtain was dirty with soap scum on the bottom of it. The one bedspread had dirty marks all over it. When I pulled a key card (from a previous guest) out from under the bed, I also pulled out hair and trash that had been under the bed!! It's DISGUSTING!!!!!!

So i hate leaving bad reviews. I know how it can hurt business as i own 3 businesses of my own. I have stayed here twice before. Both times were great! Once in 2012 and once in 2017. The first thing that i noticed when we arrived this time was the shrubs, small trees, flower beds in the front were not maintained. The lamp post was leaning to the side. (I thought well maybe maintenance hasn't had a chance to fix it yet) i walk into the lobby, they have a video gambling machine in there that was not there last time. I walk up to the counter to check in and the young gentleman could not speak very good english or at least it was difficult for me to understand him. I ask him if the property had been purchased 5 or 6 years ago and he said yes. I would have not ask that if things didn't look so run down. Our room was on the 2nd floor. The air does not work in the stairwell. The ice maker and another video gambling machine heats the space to well over 80 degrees. Im guessing the owners live on the bottom floor because everytime you walk into the stairwell, you smell this really strong nonpleasant cooking smell! As far as the room, it just needed a thorough cleaning! The mounts for a towel rack are still on the wall in the bathroom with no rack on them. The floor and baseboards hadn't been wiped in months in the bathroom. The carpet in the bedroom needed cleaning. Some things here and there could get this property back to the charm that it used to be. I hope the owners take note!

I can not stay there very DIRTY. I had to cancel, when I saw the bedroom with garbage and dirty sheets, smelled so bad, the mirror and furniture very disgusting 😡

We really liked the setting of the hotel and the garden landscape right outside of our room. Our room was spacious with 2 queen beds. The little things that could be addressed were, the refrigerator did not keep things cold but wasn't a huge deal since we only stayed one night. The bathtub wasn't as clean as expected, but for a one night stay not bad at all. The Continental breakfast was good, especially the waffles.
