The property was undergoing renovations but I didn't think that our stay was compromised. We stayed here three nights and enjoyed the walk to the cultural center that is next door. We enjoyed beaches on the north shore. Then we moved to another part of the island for the remainder of our vacation. I would recommend this to others as well.

I’m truly trying to understand what anyone likes here other than the staff . Housekeeping was on top of it daily . The hotel needs to be demolished and rebuilt its old and out of date .The bistro is small and expensive . The pool is cold and dirty . The rooms are okay they get the job done . The gym is pitiful just make it an indoor dining area . Construction working all day and night . Limited transportation like you need a car you’ll be lucky if you can get an uber . They recommend a taxi for $120 one way, the uber is $50 one way .

Restaurant was under construction and what was offered was basically a Starbucks menu which was our option. No local food options except Turtle Bay which is extremely high priced.

Quiet, peaceful area, away from the crowds in Waikiki, easy access to multiple beautiful beaches nearby. It is a bit of a drive to the activities in the Honolulu area, but we enjoyed the drive and had plenty to do near the north shore - and we stayed for a week. The hotel lobby area is currently being renovated (Jan.2024), but they're working around it, and the rooms were all just recently renovated, so it was clean, comfortable, and smelled nice. The staff was fantastic and responsive. Can't go wrong. Our only complaint was the PCC (unrelated to the hotel) was using blowers at 7am on the mornings they are open (everyday except Sunday and Wednesday). Our room faced the pool (and PCC) so we could hear them, but it wasn't obnoxiously loud. I'd guess the rooms facing the ocean didn't have this problem. The good news is, it's an easy walk to the PCC, which we thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend. Would definitely stay there again.

Beach is nearby and pool area is great. There was an ongoing renovation when we stayed, so it was a bit inconvenient. Few nitpicks are: pool could be a bit deeper to allow kids to jump in and filter coffee for a fee is a strange move for not a cheap hotel.
