The hotel was overall great for the size and the price; however, the only downside I have was the extra firm mattress and firm pillow. Unfortunately, it was too hard on my back and joints that I did not sleep at all.

Okay hotel with nice onsen and gym. Two major issues: 1. Tiny breakfast room and so you need to collect a timed ticket. By the time you check in, the perfect time for you day is gone and so you have to compromise and reorganise your day. Really they should have told us this in advance so we could pre-reserve breakfast times. 2. THEY GYM IS NOT FREE. This infuriated me as it’s not mentioned anywhere on Expedia, and on their own website it’s half what they are asking at reception. Really this is not acceptable.

Stayed 3 nights. Rooms are very small which is common in Japan. On 2nd day the toilet started stinking, it got worse during night. After complaining to the front desk technician were called to fix the issue on 3rd day. On check out requested to have refund for 1 night front desk Manager didn't cooperte and acted for not understanding English. After sometime he informed they don't do refunds and suggested to contact booking company Expedia for refund. Haven't received any credit from Expedia yet.

Hotel was in a good location, walkable to train stations and shopping. I would recommend getting a room on the opposite to the road as the windows were thin and the traffic was loud.

Hotel was lovely. Staff very friendly. Used the public bath which was incredibly relaxing. Breakfast was a good combination of Asian and western so something for everyone. Annoying we had to pay extra for the children for breakfast despite clearly booking the room for four. Don't quite understand why adults got it free but not children. Good location, near the shops.

In all, it was a nice hotel. Clean with nice little gym and large communal bath. The rooms had their own showers, so if you were not comfortable with the bath, no worries. It's proximity to metro, shrines and temple's, and shopping was perfect and the staff were friendly always greeting you with a smile. The only issue I had was the pillows. They have these strips of loose beads inside and were not comfortable at all. I asked the front desk if they had any different pillows, but said no and offered me another pillow. It did not help one bit. I ended up using the blanket as a pillow before getting any real sleep.

Overall, I satisfied with the overall conditions. Good service at the reception and restaurant. But the room cleaning needs to be improved. As per the receptionist advised when I was checking in the hotel, I made requests for daily room cleaning. The request was ignored.

The rooms were nice and a good size, however the see-through bathroom door lacked privacy. The breakfast was disappointing and the lobby often smelled of smoke which wasn’t very pleasant while eating a meal. Also expected the gym to be included. The location was great and the overall size of the room was pleasant.
