An absolutely amazing ryokan with excellent staff, a beautiful downstairs area, delicious breakfast and powerful A/C in the summer. Very comfortable mattresses and a generally relaxing atmosphere. This place is great, it was our first time staying at a ryokan. The staff’s hospitality and service is 10/10. The futons were very soft and comfy. A lot of space in the room. Only downside for us was it’s kinda far from the station so just a lot of walking. Will recommend!

This is such a lovely hotel, it being clean and staff are friendly. We were completely immersed into the Japanese culture where we were offered the typical Kyoto breakfast (there is a small fee to pay for breakfast ) and experienced the tea ceremony. The hotel also offer free 2h walking tour and a 30 min Koto performance.
