The property was exactly as advertised - the hosts were easily contactable and the location couldn’t haw been more perfect for us to enjoy all Kyoto had to offer but particularly the cherry blossoms right outside the house.

Lovely character, great view and location

The place was fantastic. Loved the location. Walking distance to Higashiyama and Gion District. But on the quieter side of the river. Had a very pretty canal running in front to walk along while leaving or returning to guest house. Lots of restaurants and bars around. Specific instructions to find it from hosts. The only downfall was the uncomfortable bed and pillow. Quite hard and difficult to sleep on. Made it difficult to get a good rest after big days. This guest house is not recommended for people who don’t like stairs. Didn’t bother us though. Everything else great.
