Fantastic hotel in a prime location. 2nd time staying and I wasn’t disappointed. Friendly staff especially at the concierge desk who helped with information on a local festival happening during our stay. My only suggestion would to have ice machines for use rather than having to make the trek down to the lobby to get ice.

Location was fantastic as we were so close to the main strip and Nishiki Market. We loved the breakfast buffet in the hotel as the variety was really good and delicious. The room was spacious for our family of 4 as we each had our own bed. The staff were very helpful in hailing a cab to our next hotel and we were also able to store our luggage for a couple of hours after checkout. The only downside was not having self serve washer dryers in the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This was the best hotel we stayed at in Japan and the most affordable. The rooms look brand new and the bathrooms are amazing. Our room on the second floor was also incredibly quiet. I took the advice of others and upgraded to a deluxe corner twin and I am glad I did because it was very spacious. I have learned in Japan that you get what you pay for so if you opt for the cheapest room it might be quite small. It is better to pay more and get more space/nicer accommodations. Keep in mind though that if you are on lower floors there is a privacy film on the windows. The concierge (S. Horio) was very helpful during our stay and helped us plan everything from sightseeing to calling a taxi that could fit all our luggage. The breakfast area was very nice with high tables that we prefer. This hotel is also extremely well located with lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Also I had no problem using Expedia on this trip — I did so because most hotel websites were difficult to navigate but Expedia made it quite easy.
