Very comfortable and high-quality room amenities. Quiet and relaxing neighborhood location. Would have liked more responsive and understanding staff during check-in, as weather was bad and the party was tired from travel.

Would recommend.

Amazing guesthouse. My wife and I were very comfortable in our room, with all the amenities we needed. The area was quiet, clean and the use of bikes for rental was a big bonus, as it's a slight distance away the areas or interest. Overall, will definitely stay again.

This place is fantastic if you want a quiet place. It’s quite far from the city but it’s just 5-6 mins walk from the nearest bus stop. The rooms are comfortable and I like how it makes you feel less of a tourist and more of a local. You can also walk from here to Kinkaku-ji. I highly recommend this place.

The guesthouse is situated on a quiet street - great night sleep. It is fairly easy to find - very accurate google map instructions. Direct transportation is by bus #12 - which is also easy to access. The closest train station is 15 mins walk - we did the walk a few times, and it wasn't too bad. I would not recommend walking from the train station with luggages though. Just take the bus! The amenities are great at the guesthouse - we used the washing machine twice, and the heat from the room dries the clothes very quickly! We couriered our luggages to the guesthouse in advance, and the staff had no problem receiving the luggages for us. We also left our luggages there after check-out as we wanted to check out Kinkaku-ji before we left the city. The staff had no issue watching our luggages. All the staff were able to speak English which was super helpful!

The neighboorhood was nice and quiet. There was a phone outside the building for travellers wothout a local phone, so that’s nice. We called up the guy to help us with the room key and we got really good customer service. I like how the property was spacious and that there was a kettle and a microwave in the room. Spare sheets and towels provided as well. Would have like to have more utensils in the kitchen other than cups. I would love to come back!

We liked the area and closeness to the bus. The room was fine with a window to the outside, even though it looked at a car park. Harry the concierge was very helpful. The only minor issues: no towel rails in the bathroom and I could not find the rubbish bin.

Best place we had in Japan. Large rooms, good sized bed with great mattress, computer with free internet, a large washroom, and a washer/dryer. Gorgeous little neighbourhood that is very walkable. About a 10 minute walk from subway and the hotel has bikes for a small fee that you can rent for the day.

Spacious room, comfy bed, good to have washing machine and hanger. Not much to explore nearby the hotel. It'd be good if the tableware and washing powder can be free of charge. I found dirt spots on tables, chairs, sink in kitchen and washroom. Cleaniness can be improved. Overall not bad.
