The location of the hotel is amazing, right next to a very popular photography spot in Gion. Because of this, expect some noises as there are always photographers outside around the clock. Washer dryer is really convenient. The rooms are very well maintained. Short walk to many stores and shops in Gion.

The location of the hotel is on a beautiful street with views of Yasaka Pagoda. We felt fortunate to see it every time we left or came back. The room had everything we needed and more. Well supplied kitchen. Good amount of space given the location. Quiet. Lots of tourists in kimonos taking pictures in the street. Near Starbucks and other coffee shops. On historic street. Most difficult issue is getting bags to hotel. Taxi drop off is a few blocks away as street is small, old picturesque and crowded. This means dragging suitcases or strollers a short distance to transportation.
