Clean, but a little noisy at night. Not entirely sure what the sound is, maybe a generator? If you’ve been on a cruise ship, it sounds like the engines under the ship running while you sleep. The bed slightly vibrates as well, similar to a cruise ship.

One our first night there, it was very loud outside. Between the hours of 3-5 am was the worst. Then we heard drunk woman outside our door. When we looked outside our window from our room, all the shops are closed and out of business.

Not My Favorite Stay

The check-in time is a very firm 4:00 pm. We went to Central City for the opera, not for the gambling, and we were somewhat startled to discover that there was essentially no place to eat that wasn't a casino, with the lights and noise of slot machines. Our room was too warm, and the air conditioner sounded like a plane taking offi, so we opened the windows (thank heaven for that) and dealt with the street noise. The hotel seemed comparatively expensive for the amenities on offer, but heat and noise aside, the room was fine.

Best lodging for Central City Opera

Perfect location for Central City Opera attendees. Despite it being an older building, I prefer its location to Blackhawk which is larger and newer.

This was my first time staying here, the staff was great and so helpful. The room was clean and nice and large. Only complaint I unfortunately would have was the air conditioner. It was hot yesterday and stuffy in the evening, we had the air on at 70 and it was still warm in the room all night. Other than this I was very happy with this stay.

I appreciated the quality and cleanliness of the room. Excellent housekeeping services. Check in was easy and seamless. Mgr and desk worker debated flooring under a chair for 5 min as I waited to ask what time is check out.

Huge quiet room! Only issue was there was a small flight of stair to get to a the room. We specifically asked if there was an elevator due to luggage. The beds were great, everything was luxurious.. we loved it.. would stay again

Reasonably priced. Card keys didn’t work in the elevator, which apparently is on going problem. It’s a long walk from the parking garage to the hotel check in desk (in the casino), then to the elevator, then back to the desk, then to the elevator, then the room. And then down a small flight of steps to get to the room. Kinda tough when you’re walking with a cane.
