The room had an odd smell and the heat/air was not eorking correctly. Had to sleep with the eindow partially open in the middle of winter.

i checked in late at night from a long day of traveling. i get to my room and it wreaked of cigarette smoke. my reservation was for a non-smoking room. i called the front desk and was told to walk all the way to the front desk of the neighboring (horseshoe) casino if i want another room because the front desk of lady luck casino closes at night. so i did and i got a room on another floor. while walking through the hall towards my room, the hallway smelled like someone took a dump on the carpet. the stench was strongest, guess where, in front of my room. it was so bad that the smell went inside the room. i had to put towels under the door to block out the smell. i crashed on the bed because i was too tired to get another room. i woke up at 3am to the awful stench. i just hid under the blanket and went back to sleep

Lady Luck hotel review
1st night there the room across from us sounded like a dog kennel. The check in to ask for a room change is the Horseshoe next door. We spent 2 hours going through this process (on vacation). I asked for hotel manager to call me & was ignored. The room smelled like pets had been there. The bathtub barely drained. During the move someone riding the elevator with us had their pit bull (thankfully on a leash) but scary at the least. I think there were more dogs at the hotel than people. There was no housekeeping services either.

I liked that the Lady Luck was quiet and everything was within walking distance. The beds were not real comfortable and we had to ask for extra pillows, due to the pillows being thin. Other than that, I’d stay there again.

Horrible place to stay in Black Hawk!
As soon as we walked into the room at the Lady Luck we were immediately greeted with a horrible stench. We contacted the front desk to let them know and they told us the best they could do was send up some Febreze. The room smelt disgusting the entire time we stayed there. Worst customer service we’ve ever experienced at a hotel. Definitely would never recommend!!

My stay at this place was the worst I ever had. I was getting ready to go to bed at 3am and then I grabbed my pillow and on the bottom side of the pillow was a brown stain. I don’t know what it was but only a few things are brown. Worst experience of my life.
