I would have liked to give this at least a 4 star but am very disappointed after having an emergency and giving them ample time to get the room rebooked they refused our refund. We checked out by 6am and they had a sign up saying they had no rooms available so I know they booked that room and still kept our money! Very very disappointed and will never stay there again if that is how they treat people who have medical emergencies.

Parking spots are tight if you drive an suv. So be ready to have your car dinged. Staff is grumpy at the front desk. The cocktails are watered down and I question if there are even 900 slots. Bar tenders seem to ignore you unless your doing video poker at the bar.

I will not be staying here again. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. What many people may not know is that this property is affiliated with the Lady Luck Hotel. Due to overbooking at the Horseshoe, the staff decided—without any communication—to move our reservation to Lady Luck. We were not given the option to cancel or even informed of the change. When we arrived, they claimed we didn’t have a reservation at all. The only “record” of our booking was a sticky note instructing staff to place us at Lady Luck. We had to reload our luggage into the car and wait until 4 PM for a manager to arrive, who was just as rude and unhelpful as the rest of the staff. We specifically booked the Horseshoe to stay with the rest of our group, and this change completely disrupted our plans. There was no apology, no compensation, and no accountability—just a dismissive attitude. This experience could have been entirely different with a simple phone call or email. Instead, it felt like we were treated as an inconvenience. I won’t be returning..

Very tight slot machines and they went up in cost to play since the last time we visited here a year or so ago. Both complimentary coffee machines on the game floor were not working so no morning coffee and the one in our room wasn’t working properly. Staff were a mixed bag of courteous and non courteous. Pizza in their grill was excellent! The room was clean and very nice!! Good ice machine on the floor. We overall enjoyed our stay, but felt that the slot machines were excessively greedy, and will not return because of that.
