Don’t stay here

The motel was under construction and was not told and the water line was broke and no water in the room and the TV didn’t work and when it did you couldn’t hear it..AC was extremely loud and the floors are very loud and the guest upstairs dropped something on the floor at about 5am and woke me up…the construction noise was so loud you couldn’t enjoy the porch I paid extra for…

Great location to everything! Property is very lush with plants and cute areas to sit and enjoy them. We went in September and had a lot of rain at the start of the trip, so the pool was dirty and cold. Some of the lounge chairs were torn. We were in a room that was behind the breakfast area. It was very small and far from the other couples we stayed with. Bathroom was tiny but had the amenities that we needed. Vanity was missing handles and flooring was peeling up and separating it could use repair. They do not clean the room during your stay which we didn’t care for. It would have been nice to have the floors cleaned and garbage taken out.They were doing some seasonal repairs to the deck so the main walkway from the lobby to the rooms was blocked off. While it was inconvenient, it was understandable. The daily breakfast was very nice and the servers were great. Roosters were very good at waking you up at 5am. It was not a bad stay, but there were things that could be improved on.

Enjoyed our stay

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Unfortunately renovations were being done during our visit so it was a little inconvenient getting to the pool and breakfast area. The pool was not heated and the water was cold. Not much sun hits the water. There are beautiful garden area with a hammock to relax and listen to the water fountain. Nice perk getting a welcome drink upon arrival. We loved our balcony view of Duval street. Would definitely stay here again.

The property is right on Duval, which makes it walkable to everything. Though there is noise on the street, the beautiful landscaping of the property blocks out the noise. The pool is chilled, which is perfect with August heat.

Awesome stay at the Duval House August, 2025

We had an overnight stay at the Duval House and the staff were amazing! Friendly, helpful and all around great. The grounds are beautiful, the free breakfast was delicious (especially the waffles!) and the room was clean and comfortable. I would stay there again. Thanks to the Duval House for making our night in Key West memorable.
