The neighbourhood of Karen is surrounded by Nairobi's culture and at 15 kilometres to the west of the city can be a great base for your stay in Kenya's national capital.
Do you have trouble getting going without a morning coffee? You'll be happy to know Karen boasts some terrific cafes. Dorman's is a local favourite, offering a range of steamy drinks and snacks. Unfortunately, we can't keep going on caffeine alone. Have a flick through the menu at Talisman when your belly starts to growl. Before making your way back to the hotel, why not stop by The Grassy Knoll for a hard-earned drink? Whether you're a beer or wine drinker, you'll find plenty to like here.
