House was clean and inviting - it is also gorgeous. Mary from 2 Papayas had opened up the house and turned on the a/c in the bedrooms so that the house was prepared for our arrival. She also left us a very nice welcome basket. It is a very short walk down to the nice and mostly quiet beach. House is well equipped with beach chairs and beach towels. When we were done with the beach, we enjoyed the large shaded lanais and pool. We will definitely rent from Mary at 2 Papayas again!

Perfect vacation house

Our family of 10 enjoyed a week at Puako and were so sad to leave. The house had everything we needed, as well as a pool that the kids loved and a small beach with great snorkeling. Larger beaches were within a short driving distance. The house is comfortable but not fussy and Mary the property manager was so great with communication. We hope to be back!

The house was perfect for our family!! The layout of the house was great. We had 3 couples and then 3 young ladies, so the 3 king size bedrooms and fourth bedroom with 3 beds was just right. Having 3 bathrooms was handy. The 2 living areas gave us plenty of room to hang out without being on top of one another. We did cook several meals and the kitchen had everything we needed for our meals. Having the outside cooker was great to have as well. We used the pool EVERY DAY and having the beach so close was very nice. It is just short easy walk down to enjoy a sunrise or sunset or to carry your gear down to spend the afternoon sitting on the beach. The only thing I would say negative was that only the bedrooms were air conditioned, but with opening the windows and getting the cross breezes, the house stayed reasonably cool at the hottest part of the day. However this was not enough of a deterrent for us not to consider a return. We are looking at possibly rebooking for next year if our schedules can work out. Very happy with our stay!!
