It's location to town and easy access. Staff were pleasant and the rooms had plenty of room to move around. Presentation overall was good and parking was sometimes tight as the property was full.

The officious reception girl clouded our visit at the resort. We arrived early to book for dinner, to be told, booked out in not a polite way. I said as we were staying it would have been polite to let us know in advance, that we should book for dinner. We then cued for 3/4 hour in the local pub. I then said could we book for breakfast, to be told, no breakfast, COVID! Sorry if you can do dinner, why not breakfast. They should adjust their advertising which claims dinner/lunch/breakfast.

Hi Robyn Unfortunately we are not given your contact details when you book so you aren't getting the same information as other guests...I have tried to have this fixed but to no avail so far. I do appreciate your frustration but we do advise via email but are blocked to Expedia guests. Additionally, the entire town is experiencing extreme numbers of travellers and are trying our best to cope - we are all short staffed, tired and are all turning guests away which is not what we're about. Our dinners are individually served as opposed to breakfast which was normally a buffet. The AHA, which we are members of and who guide our Food & Beverage laws within the State, do not recommend that we operate buffets. Given the low demand and peoples' general unwillingness to contribute in any way towards the spread of Covid-19, we too have decided that in the best interests of our guests not to provide breakfast. I have been trying to contact all our partners, including Expedia in order to have our listings changed but that hasn't been at the top of the To Do list given how busy we have been. Covid has changed a lot of things for everyone and we are all just trying to do our best. Regards Melissa Daniels - Manager

Great relaxing stay the only downer is the rooms aren’t very well soundproofed. Can hear everything that goes on beside you as well as above.

I do understand what you mean - it is especially difficult during the holiday season, which has extended this year due to Chinese New Year. People are up and about late at night and going again early morning, trying to pack in a lot. I do apologise and if you are visiting us again, please make sure to request an upstairs unit. O do hope that otherwise you enjoyed your stay in Kalbarri.

It is walking distance to river and shops. Clean. No view from the room we were in.

Hi and thank you for your review. Whilst we are in a great location in terms of being close to everything, we don't have views to speak of apart from a couple of upstairs spa suites - even these do not have spectacular sights to see.
