Room layout & size was great. But...No wine glasses - charge of $20 for 2 glasses. Internet was down. Cutlery was 1 knife and fork, no teaspoons. Fridge needs replacing - handle broken, freezer door came off every time you opened it. Noticeable time delay before bathroom light came on; longer if a long time between use. We were offered two complimentary coffees for no internet. Hmmm!

Expensive and no aircon that works even if you ask them to turn it on. No reception around before 7am if you check out early. The design of the place is poor so that noise from the central foyer reverberates up to all rooms and amplifies any party going on downstairs

The lack of dining and catering facilities. The reception was adequate however I simply could not obtain a final account on check out. A mandatory bond of $200.00 lodged on chech in was unexpected added to being advised that a credit would be forthcoming. The rooms and bathroom's are outdated but adequate.

Great atmosphere, family room was good size, only had a mini fridge, kettle, toaster and coffee cups (no crockery). Yummy buffet breakfast selection. Kids loved the pool. Staff were very helpful and friendly. It was a little loud at night from traffic, but otherwise would highly recommend. Close to walk to the Main Street, beach, lookout and Koombana bay.

Avoid this hotel at all costs

Booked as a well known brand with good reviews and promises of excellent standards. Room was tired, basic, shabby and had a number of health and safety issues. Stained toilet, hairs in basin, bath had cracks with one being black with dirt/mould ingrained in it. Raised issue with hotel itself and with Best Western but has been completely swept under the carpet. BW are saying that it is all due to the hotel and nothing to do with them, the hotel say that they will try and improve the experience for future guests. Despite many emails our latest correspondences are being ignored. Don't bother there are lots of much better hotels in the vicinity.

Location to walk into town was good, The biggest gripe is the inside of the main area where the pool is it’s very noisy with kids making a racket till 10.00pm, where is the quiet time?
