Good option for the Jacksonville area. Had a great check-in and warm welcome with Sunshine at the front desk. She was so charming and answered all of my questions - very refreshing after a long trip. Great location, modern rooms. Just two notes - must point out the plumbing was so loud - when you flush the toilets or sink it was almost whistling for a few minutes even after the flush. Also I ordered a steak room service, and it came up almost cold in a to-go box. Both are things I think the hotel could fix easily.

Everything was really nice and had a great time. Hotel staff and the JBar staff were amazing and very friendly. Towels could use an update some stains and a goat head on one. Bathroom needs a vent fan.

Everything was very good. Clean room, amenities were fine,restaurant was fine. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Tayla, our server in the restaurant was excellent. The only drawback was the bed in our room. It was very uncomfortable, making sleep next to impossible.

The breakfast was very good, room good, housekeeping good. Room service was quick but missing the soda my wife ordered - had to go to the lobby store to get a replacement (which they comped). On departure was asked if I wanted the final statement emailed, which I agreed to. It's now 5 days later and still no statement, nor is the billing complete yet.

Everything was very clean. All the staff were polite and helpful. Bed was horrible. They said it was new mattresses in all rooms - lumpy felt like sleeping on moving bulges. The hard couch with a blanket on it was more comfortable than the bed. Breakfast was not included with the room (NO free breakfast) it was "included with a fee" per the desk. I did choose the free breakfast option when booking but wasn't going to fight over it. We didn’t have breakfast there. Pool was closed so we couldn't even walk on the outlook to see the river all lit up. (We booked a "Riverview" room but the veiw was mostly blocked. Tried to veiw the river from outside, but we encountered 3x homeless people sleeping at the edges of the hotel property and felt rude to be bothering them. We will not return.
