A Wonderful stay at Hammamhane!! I had such a lovely experience staying at Hammamhane in Istanbul. The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way — from the warm customer service to the thoughtful details throughout the property. The breakfast was delicious, with a great selection each morning. Our studio room was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed. I especially appreciated the complimentary water bottle in the room and the convenient water cooler in the hallway — such a great eco-friendly touch! I also loved the signs encouraging guests to save water — it shows how much the hotel cares about sustainability. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept so well. The location is perfect — just a 10-minute walk to Taksim Square and about 30 minutes to the Egyptian Bazaar, making it easy to explore the city. Plus, having a hammam right next door was a wonderful bonus! Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay and felt very well taken care of. I’ll definitely be booking Hammamhane again on my next visit to Istanbul!

You have to stay at the Hammamhane Hotel. The location is awesome, the hotel is beautiful and relaxing, the staff are super helpful and friendly and the rooms are very comfortable. I’ve already booked another stay when I come back through Istanbul on my travels.

Top floor suite had a 2 balconies -lots of light. Spacious and bonus was the washer/dryer, decent size refrigerator with separate freezer and even a dishwasher. Staff was helpful and arranged a cab for our return flight. The hammam next door was great also.

Everything about this hotel is top notch. You will be warmly welcomed and taken care of during your stay. We stayed for 10 nights in a “suite with terrace” - an exceptional one bedroom apartment with a beautiful terrace looking towards Galata Tower and the old city. Breakfast was filling with many choices. Hot and cold dishes changed daily supplemented with fruit, cereal, yogurt, cheese, etc…The location was ideal. Approx 10 minutes walking to Tophane tram, 10 minutes to Taksim metro and 5 min to Istiklal. Many, many restaurants and coffee shops within 1-10min walk.

Honestly even before showing up this hotel blew me away. Immediately upon booking, an employee reached out to me about a pickup /dropoff airport service, information about the hammam next door, and if I was interested in a tour guide. The pickup location for the car service was easy peasy, the second I arrived at the hotel, they already had my keys ready for me to check in, took my bag up to my room and made me up a cup of coffee to give me a second to adjust before heading up. Deniz gave me a tour around the hotel, which is absolutely the most unique and coolest hotel I’ve ever stayed in, before showing me to my room, walking me through it to make sure I knew all the functions etc. my room was exactly as described in its description. The attached hammam was an amazing experience as well and I highly recommend it. I walked the whole neighborhood day and night and felt very safe. Also the local tram was very easy to navigate to the Old Town and Hammamhane will help you with a walkthrough of their map and how the city is organized. Even when I was getting picked up, I went down a bit early to wait for my car service and it was already down there waiting for me. I only stayed the long weekend, but I wish I could’ve stayed even longer. Thank you for the great experience and I would love to stay here again!

This is a great place to start your discovery of Istanbul! Rooms are very quiet, clean, and modern. The included breakfast is great as well, we always felt stuffed and ready to go for our Istanbul exploration. You can borrow a Instanbul Card at the front desk, which is convenient and allows you to use all public transportation. The staff is extremely helpful, they organized our airport transfers and we were able to book a service in the connected Hammam with them. If you go, make sure to also plan time for a relaxing service at the Hammam! All un all, we would stay at Hammamhame again when visiting Istanbul.

Exceptional stay! I have an unfortunate accident, (broken ankle) , and the hotel staff made all the possible arrangements to make my stay the most comfortable possible. On the other hand, the hotel is modern, extremely clean, environmentally responsible, breakfast was delicious with different options. Safe location near Taksim (8 minutes walking). All the staff is kind, and try everything to cover your needs. I cannot give less than 100% approval.

Staff are very helpful. Studio was clean and had all amenities. Very tasty and generous breakfast included. If you had a late breakfast, you can skip lunch and spend more time to visit. Very welcoming and friendly. In very few days we got to know everyone by name. They all speak English. There is a hammam (turkish bath) adjacent to the hotel you should try. The hotel is located in Taksim area hot for night life and Istiklal avenue live and busy day and night for shopping and eating. My rating of the hotel is 10/10 for everything and not expensive for all the convenience it offers.

A stunning triumph of a hotel!

Hammamhane is one of those very rare gems that just gets *everything* right. From a friendly check-in to a superbly appointed apartment room, the experience was wonderful from start to finish. And, oh, the breakfast! We live in Türkiye, and so we have developed very high expectations for this most quintessential of Turkish eating experiences - and Hammamhane's quality and unique selection of delicious dishes (even including gluten-free cake!) was outstanding. A full and well-deserved five stars all round.
