If I could give zero stars I would. This was a trip for my sons 18th birthday/graduation/xmas present. We have always stayed in the Jobos area and love it. The location of these rentals is amazing but unfortunately the property owner seems to care less about the condition of his units. The units are horrible. No hot water in the kitchen sink or bathroom sink. Toilet is about 4 inches from the wall making it very difficult to use and had a broken toilet seat. Bathroom was COVERED in MOLD. The master bed was so old and uncomfortable we had to use the double bed room as the springs poked you while laying on it. We had rain while there and the roof/ceiling was leaking in multiple places. The shower heater melted and almost caught the unit on fire. It was plugged in at the shower with no GFI, so we had to go 2 days without being able to shower. Cooking amenities in the kitchen were comical as the sheet pan wouldn’t even fit in the oven and the coffee pot was beyond gross. The kick outs to the loveseat in the living room would not stay locked in unless you overlapped the two kick outs together and pushed them in. Other people renting on both sides of us had similar concerns with their units. We nicknamed the unit the “Crack Shack”. Gabriel, the host/manager, is great- however his hands are tied due to the owners not wanting to put money into the place.
