Erica's Review: Great Vacation House! 5***** We stayed at Christmas at the house in Invermere and it was super! 20 minutes to Fairmont Ski and Hot Springs Resort. We had 3 Family's and it was very spacious and the kids had lots of room to play. There was enough beds and tons of extra blankets, and pillows. It had everything what we needed. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone traveling with Family. We will be back again next year to stay at this house. The Owner was very nice and responded quickly to any inquiries/emails you have. They left us a nice Christmas card and gift on the dining table which we were very thankful!

Fantastic location!
Our family enjoyed our stay, as the location could not have been better. Short walk to the beach, awesome views from the patio and enough rooms for everyone. A bit warm to sleep at night but otherwise we will be booking again!

Well appointed cabin, clean, and lots of room for a larger family
Don's place was ideal for our family vacation in the area.
The layout of the space was perfect for our family of 6. Everybody had room to spread out, including my two teenagers, that took over the basement. The cabin was clean, and came equipped with everything you'd need for a comfortable stay, minus your clothing and food. And I mean literally everything...plenty of towels, linens, dishes, etc...
The location was great for us...close to everything, but not right on the main drag, so it was serene and peaceful.
The beds were comfortable, and everybody slept well.
We had no issues. Would happily rent from Don again.

Excellent house and location
House is just about the perfect location between the beach aand downtown, nice quiet street with some really great views
The deck was great, sun hitting it in the morning for coffee on it and shade in the hot afternoon for relaxing after being at the beach.
Neighbors were friendly as well (one came by to let us know about an upcoming scheduled power outage)
House works really well for a large family group as there are lots of 'heads in beds' oppertunities.

Well stocked rental
This was a great stocked rental for the kitchen, bathrooms, etc. The house is large, as is the yard. The house is a bit dated and the beds are just ok and there’s no air conditioning, but we felt the rental was great value for the cost. You’re just a 3 minute drive or 10 minute walk to the beach. The deck is excellently located in the house - it manages to have afternoon shade so you can sit out on it even in the heat of the afternoon and be cool.

Working Vacation
We had a lot of work to do while we were here for 10 days. The house was very convenient and gave us lots of room to get our work done and visit with family. The house is very well equipped for cooking, dishwasher, the deck was lovely to sit out evenings. The views are very pretty. Nice quiet neighborhood. Beds were comfortable. The vintage 70's bathtub/shower was remarkably comfortable for soaking.the only down sides to this house is that there is no powder room on the main floor or AC in the upstairs bedrooms. But we had a wonderful stay.

Perfect for more then one family
Don’s house was perfect for our family vacation. We had 6 adults and 4 children and a dog. Great separation of space for each of our families; we didn’t hear anyone (kids up early, baby crying or adults up late). Had everything we needed and the yard was great for the dog. Would have had a beautiful view if it wasn’t for the smoke in the valley.

Excellent home for families
This was an excellent property for our family vacation. We were 4 adults and 3 kids. The house was very comfortable, with all the amenities you need. It’s just a 6/7 block walk to Kinsmen beach in Invermere. Great value

Good location, but very dated
The house itself has a number of positive qualities, such as the close location to the beach and main street. It is also well stocked, and has a nice big yard for the kids to play in. However, one of the upstairs bedrooms does not have a wall, and does not keep the noise out. So one of our party members did not sleep well. The house is just very old, so the beds are rather uncomfortable, the dishwasher doesn't really work, the toilets don't flush well, there's old carpet, the patio doors don't close well so we had some bugs, etc. With a little bit of updating, this place could be fabulous.
