Great strides Forward. I have been staying there for the last 4,5 months once a month for business. They have painted the outside, landscape, new wallpaper in lobby. Looks like they have consistently been working on getting it up to standard. . Now a few details that could be done.

Arriving later in the evening, there were no restaurants within safe walking distance to eat dinner. The hotel offered food options however we had no car to drive to the locations. We ended up not eating dinner at all.

Horrendous Check-in Experience

No one was at reception when I showed up at 7:30pm and I had to wait 10 minutes. It then took another 10 minutes to check me in. Next, when I went to my room there was already someone in it. Another 20 minutes then to get an empty room.

Don't waste your time or money. Go to the Marriot

We booked a shuttle bus, they had no room on the bus. The roof in the bathroom was crumbling. There was a remote control between the bedsheets indicating that it was not changed. Staff not at front desk and when they were the were not dressed professionally. (Blanket wrapped around their waist) Website said there was a mall in walking distance mall closed. No restaurant on site as advertised. Signs everywhere saying you are not allowed to bring food from breakfast to your room. No bedding for pull out couch, when we went down to the front desk to ask and tell them the phone in our room does not work. They told us to call the local long distance number. Then when bedding arrived it was nothing more than a mattress cover.

Staff entered our room twice without knocking, had a room for 5 but only bedding and towels for 3 people, advertised fitness centre was out of order equipment and 4 miss matched dumbbells and advertised restaurant isn’t operating.

Arrived at hotel, downstairs women’s restroom stalls were out of order but one. Soap dispensers and sinks did not work properly, in the room, bed was uncomfortable, pillows that were provided was both shaped different, one was very small and the other standard, the bed had metal so every time I would move it would creak or make noise. It took hours til I was able to fall asleep, that is that I worked a night shift, won’t be going back. Plus no microwave in room, had to go all the way downstairs to warm up my food.

Service was average. It took a while to get clean towels. Breakfast was ok but sometimes there wasn’t enough food items for the amount of people there. Abandoned building in front of the property gave the hotel an unpleasant look. Had a problem with the toilet the second day and they fixed it right away so that was greatly appreciated.
