Excellent staff, hard beds

The staff is exceptional! Friendly, helpful and accommodating. Room was clean but the beds and pillows were so hard and the sheets were scratchy. Thankfully i only stayed 1 night. Since it is downtown near a police station and train track, those factors also kept me from sleeping well. The hotel has a nice small bar and the food was excellent. If the beds and pillows were softer i would return. Unfortunately during my next visit to Houston i will be staying elsewhere.
