I really enjoyed my stay at the Royal plaza hotel. It isn’t as modern or new as some other hotels but the room was spacious (compared to other hk hotels) location was excellent - close to bus and mtr, walkable to the Mong kok areas which is busy night and day. Close to Nathan road, TAT and the Kowloon Wall City. Room was clean, linen and towels were of great standards.

It’s super conveniently located, everything is just a stone’s throw away! With a few little tweaks, the bathroom could be even safer and more comfy for kids and anyone needing a bit of extra accessibility. 😊

Staffs are nice and very friendly and helpful. Great location right beside major shopping mall and mongkok east train and bus terminals allow transfer to other subway line. There are also many stall on the street nearby offer different Chinese food and snack. Great moko shopping mall pretty much self contained with restaurant supermarket and movie theatre and playground. Definitely a gem for the city.

Be aware, this hotel does not have a bar. It has one restaurant which is high end but quite expensive as one would expect. Plenty of options for eating and shopping as it is attached to a mall as is the way in Hong Kong. Has quite a nice outside pool, but whilst we were there, there was several storms, so it had to be closed due to the risk of lightning strike. Has a gym and spa. Central location good for exploring the rest of the area.

The Royal Plaza Hotel was fantastic. The rooms were super clean. The staff were gracious and the location was perfect. The Hotel is connected to an amazing shopping mall as well as the subway. This made shopping and transport super easy. The outdoor pool was refreshing and the gym kept us fit. Don't look any further!

Unexpectedly I was told to pay for local call that was very unlikely happened in Hong Kong. I have stayed in different hotels in recent years, it is unusual to charge the guests for using local phone. At last, I have joined the membership of the hotel group and got my charges waived. But I was not told well before when I checked in for my stay. Disappointed.
