La Quinta Inn & Suites - accommodation in Hill Country

The room was clean and nice and big however it appeared everything was under construction. (Lots of noise and construction dust) The elevator was out for maintenance multiple days and after being there for almost a week no towel changes, garbage emptied, or coffee. We did go to the front desk for coffee pods but it was a pain to do every day. Maybe once they get things completed it will be better but not now. The valet staff were wonderful! We actually ended up leaving a day early as it was difficult to work with the construction.

No room service. Hotel doesn’t have an actual restaurant or dining room, the bar has a limited menu. Any food delivery necessitates going to the lobby to receive the food. This Hyatt is bare-bones: is this the new standard for Hyatt ? There’s only 1 port for re-charging phone and computer, and THAT one is cleverly hidden on the side of the telephone

Great hotel near Congress Street, one of the main parts of Austin. The staff was amazing & so friendly, always looking to help. I would definitely recommend the Omni Downtown. We had a great stay!
