Friendly and comfortable Unfortunately the WiFi was very poor and there was little or no tv reception. Sink plug was stuck and no toilet brush!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very close to our relatives who we were visiting. It was very convenient to be able to have breakfast at the property. Our only complaint which was a problem during our stay was that there was a problem with our shower and toilet. The maintenance man did tell us they were aware of the issues. Also we had an issue with the toilet seat even though they did attempt to fix it.

A very busy kitchen so some food seemed a little dry might have waited a little for serving and some a little cool. Staff did a good job. Service quick enough. Wi-Fi poor - need to go through logon process very frequently. Room servicing a little erratic. Room lighting was a joke.

It’s so pretty and comfortable here and great value for money. Friendly staff, lovely chocolate on the pillow, free parking and a nice pub (we didn’t use but would do next time)

Room was okay, just basic! The staff were very friendly and it was an ideal location. The WiFi was poor and could not get a phone signal either. Tv channels on freesat but couldn’t connect my firestick to watch Netflix due to poor WiFi. Based behind the pub but can still hear the noise through the night so that wasn’t great but overall for the location and price can’t complain

Great stay at the green man

This hotel is lovely and very comfortable, the cleanliness is brilliant and the environment is lovely and quiet throughout the night. I have marked it as good because the in room refreshments are very sparse, only one tea bag, one white sugar, onr brown and one sweetener and a small amount of milk. Otherwise a brilliant stay.

Nice pub, nice hotel

For me, pretty much the best place to stay in Harlow, and I've tried most. Hotel accommodation is excellent, modern and clean. Eaten here twice, food is good. Service on the first occasion was decidedly poor, with staff more interested in preparing for breakfast than attending to customers. However, Amy saved the day on the second visit, with prompt and attentive service, and a smile or two.

Hotel staff were wonderful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely. Loved having coffee sachets and biscuits in the room. Best bit was a bar of posh delicious chocolate in the room. And fresh milk on demand. Wonderful hotel. Thank you. Only downside was that the room was very hot and the little fan didn’t help much. Evening meal was delicious and so was breakfast. Thank you. We will be back.

After a brutal day of traveling in from Canada, delayed flights, missed connections and hours of transit commutes around london, I ended up at this lovely spot. I couldn't have asked for a better ending after a day of hell. The pub is adorable, food amazing, staff incredibly helpful and friendly, and the room spacious, clean and cozy. I would hands down recommend it and will be making it a staple in future travels. Thank you!

This hotel room was one of the nicest we stayed in! It was so comfortably set up, the staff was very kind and welcoming when we arrived, and the restaurant/bar on site was delicious! We stayed while awaiting a trip out of Stansted Airport and would definitely return.

The room was nicely presented, but far too hot and no way of cooling it down other than a stand alone fan which wasn’t adequate. Therefore it was difficult to sleep and hard to spend any time in the room. The room was also not cleaned on the first Day so we had no milk, tea or even toilet roll!

Great Place To Stay

This hotel is a little gem, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and comftable, the bed was huge. Food in the inn is hot, filling and reasonably priced. Stayed 2 nights and would definately stay again.

Location, accommodation and condition are all very good, but it was the staff that made this stay excellent. Emily on particular was extremely helpful in resolving a booking issue and the staff in the restaurant were pleasant, efficient and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
